If you exercise regularly or engage in sweat-inducing activities, it's best to remove jewelry beforehand. If you use fitness equipment or play contact sports, your jewelry is also at increased risk of getting scratched or damaged.

​3 . Keep your jewelry away from chemicals such as those found in body lotions and some perfumes. Put on your jewelry after applying lotion and perfume. For generations, women have put their jewelry last, and for good reason. Lotions, make-up, hair spray and perfumes will accelerate the tarnishing and tarnishing of silver and may reduce the luster of crystals.

When cleaning sterling silver, remember that it is a soft metal and can easily be scratched by a fingernail or piece of cloth if more pressure is applied to its surface.

One of the best methods for cleaning silver is to use a special

silver cleaner, but if you don't have one, there are other ways.

​1 . Soap and water

This is the most recommended method due to the gentleness of the soap and water. To remove dirt, add a small amount of mild liquid soap to half a cup of warm water, soak for 2-3 minutes, rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry completely.

​2 . Cleaning towels

To maintain the original condition of your silver jewelry, polish it regularly using a special silver cleaning cloth. You can use a non-abrasive microfiber cloth or a 100% cotton cloth. Use an up and down motion to clean the jewelry and avoid circular motions as it can actually make stains or dirt worse. Be sure to use different parts of the fabric to avoid spreading stains. Avoid polishing jewelry pieces that have been intentionally oxidized during manufacture. Please do not use paper towels or toilet paper to clean or dry your jewelry.
